Keeping Team Loyalties and Personal Identity

I think that our relation to sports involves a relation to our identity. We often use it to help anchor our identity as we move around in a highly mobile society. So keeping team loyalties alive becomes a matter of identity and commitment.So my daughter faces a moral dilemma. She's a born and bred Seattle Mariner's fan.
